You will hesitate to go for the job you really wanna go for, you will hesitate to ask for a raise, you will hesitate to call yourself an American, you will hesitate to report a rape, you will hesitate to defend yourself when you are discriminated against because of your race, your sexuality, your size, your gender. You will hesitate to vote, you will hesitate to dream. For us to have self-esteem is truly an act of revolution and our revolution is long overdue.

When I was single and living with my parents, the thought of living with a man and taking care of a house and dog seemed so incredibly daunting. Because compared to having my mommy shop for me, it definitely is. But after the whirlwind that was our wedding and moving experience, if feels like it’s been like this forever. I wake up, and take my dog out, feed him, start laundry, clean the kitchen, and continue my day. It’s just how it is. Which is so incredibly strange, because I am a lazy human; I hate doing pretty much anything menial, or mundane, but now it just seems so necessary to our life. Chris is such an important part of that, I can’t imagine spending this life with anybody but him.

This little guy, rocks my world :)
